Charting a New Course for Liberty, CLC2017


In a political climate of safe spaces, fake news, and the censorship of conservative voices at academic institutions across the nation, our country is in desperate need of hearing from patriots about the liberty-loving ideals that birthed and shaped America.

Our society was birthed out of “We the People” coming together to defend the sacred truths “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Once a year, Civitas’ Conservative Leadership Conference sets out to remind and equip us of these sacred civic duties. It’s a two-day conference where patriots come together from leading conservative and liberty-loving organizations to learn about and defend our inalienable rights. It’s a place where thought-leaders help us look to the principles of our past to help us chart new courses for liberty’s future.

This year’s #CLC2017 will highlight innovative strategies for reform by educating, equipping, and inspiring North Carolinians to become better advocates for our freedom.
