About

Formerly the Civitas Conservative Leadership Conference, the CLC you know and love is back and better than ever – with a brand new name!

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!

The John Locke Foundation is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2022 Carolina Liberty Conference hosted at the Crabtree Marriott in Raleigh, North Carolina on February 25 and 26, 2022.

CLC is North Carolina’s largest center-right gathering of its kind. It is regarded as the premier liberty-oriented conference in the state. The two-day event brings together 300 activists, legislators, and engaged citizens to network, learn, and celebrate freedom-minded ideas. We are bringing the sharpest minds and freedom-focused fighters from across the state and nation to meet with you.

With your attendance, you can join the movement as we work together to defend free enterprise, individual liberty, and personal freedom.

What’s In It For Me At CLC?

Kicking off the conference on Friday, February, 25th, will be our Grassroots Activist Training, which will equip you to take a front line in defending liberty across the state.

Wind down from your training by ordering one of our signature Locke Libations at the bar, and if you’re a VIP ticket holder, mingle with George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who have confirmed they will be traveling through time to visit their fellow patriots in 2022.

That evening, you’ll find your comedic relief with Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon as he takes the main stage and mingles with VIP ticket holders.

Cap off the night with a nightcap and cigar at our signature Cigar Reception out on the Marriott terrace.

Wake up on Saturday morning, February 26th, and join us for a jolt of caffeine, plated breakfast in the ballroom, and a stellar lineup of speakers who will enlighten (and entertain) you.

Followed by breakfast, take a few minutes to network with like-minded North Carolinians and tour the vendor hall where liberty-first organizations and best selling authors will be available to discuss volunteer opportunities and ideas.

Then, you’re off to our many breakout sessions. Whether you want to learn more about advancing school choice or are concerned about election security, there are plenty of sessions to choose from.

After another short break, a delicious sit down lunch will be provided as you listen to former Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. CEO Andy Puzder take the stage to talk about “woke capitalism.”

Capping off this stellar conference is the most anticipated event of all: the Republican US Senate Primary Debate with confirmed candidates Gov. Pat McCrory, Representative Mark Walker, and military veteran Marjorie K. Eastman. Representative Ted Budd has also been invited to participate. Donna King of the Carolina Journal and Jonah Kaplan of ABC11 will moderate this hour long debate that is available live only to CLC ticket holders.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab your tickets TODAY!
